1963 'PRO TOURING' SPLIT WINDOW COUPE LS-1, C-4 ALUMINUM FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION AND A/C VIN: 30837S115366, Sebring Silver and Black Interior
Introduced for the 1963 model year, the C2 generation of Corvette was an instant hit. The car was new with now iconic styling. The early Resto-Mod Corvettes are a hot item. So here is an iconic 1963 Split Window Coupe that will give you all the satisfaction of late model performance, braking, handling, and drivability in one package. The Corvette is titled as a 1963 with the original VIN plate and trim tag installed from GM. The trim tag confirms the color combination of Sebring Silver and Black Interior. The Corvette is equipped with traditional style 17" knock off Halibrand wheels, Bridgestone Potenza directional tires (225/45/R17 Front, 245/45/R17 Rear), Auto Meter gauges set in original dash panel, white 1965 seats are currently installed, also included with the Corvette is a set of late model Corvette Black leather seats (power adjust on both sides), 3 point seat belts, a discrete custom roll-bar is hardly visible but provides necessary safety, Flaming River tilt steering column, Teak Steering Wheel, power steering, Vintage Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, and Power Antenna, and tinted glass. The engine compartment is extremely clean and has been very nicely detailed. The engine is a GM LS-1 (2001 New Crate Engine), 460LE Automatic over drive transmission, less than 2,000 miles on motor and transmission, custom 'Street Shop' chassis with C-4 aluminum Corvette front and rear suspension, positraction, C-2 Corvette side exhaust system, and 4 wheel power disc brakes. The frame is nicely detailed and the body has the correct 1963 gas door assembly. The restoration was completed to good standards and the car presents extremely nicely. The paintwork is very nice, as are the chrome, stainless, wheels and glass. The interior is also very nice to include the upholstery, door panels, dashboard, carpets, instruments and switches. The GM official production date was May 16, 1963 and the original delivery dealer was Jim White Chevrolet of Toledo, Ohio (dealer code 528 in zone 44) per the official NCRS/GM shipping data report (SDR). Also included with car is a large binder of receipts and pictures of the restoration. This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire an iconic 1963 Split Window Coupe that will give you all the satisfaction of late model performance, braking, handling, and drivability in one package. This coupe is in superb shape and is nicely equipped and beautifully presented.
